Pick a quarterly period. Sum total cost (salary, benefits, tooling, data, management overhead). Count qualified meetings (held, ICP, pain, opportunity-eligible). Divide. Track 4 to 8 quarter trend.
Cost Inputs
SDR salary plus benefits ($90K-$150K), tooling ($1.5K-$4K per SDR per quarter), data ($500-$2.5K per SDR per quarter), management overhead (15-25% of salary). Fully loaded is 1.5 to 2x base salary.
Channel Mix
Email plus LinkedIn outperforms cold-email-only by 25 to 40% lower CPQM. Multichannel signal-led is the lowest-CPQM mix for most B2B SaaS. Warm referral is most efficient but smallest list.
How To Improve
Lift meeting rate (most leveraged), add a second channel, cut data spend on low-conversion sources, automate repetitive tasks, tighten qualification definition upstream.
