Can signal scoring replace lead scoring?

No. Signal scoring without a fit floor chases events at accounts that will never buy. Run signal on top of lead, not instead of it.

How often should signal scoring refresh?

Daily at minimum, hourly for mature pipelines. Refresh cadence has to be faster than the shortest signal window.

Start from historical correlation with closed-won when possible. Without history, use a simple weighting scheme and refine quarterly.

AI is used for signal extraction, classification, and routing. The scoring weights themselves are usually deterministic rules, not model outputs.
